Resources
Below are a list of research and teaching resources. Some are resources I've created and others are links to others' resources that I have found invaluable in my work.

Teaching

As someone who teaches research methods, I often see students struggling when reading the Method section of a paper. The technical language is often difficult to read, let alone critique! To help with this, I’ve written a blog post all about critically evaluating Method sections. You can find the blog post on the Teaching in Higher Education: Supporting and Inspiring Students (THESIS) website. To accompany this post, I’ve critically evaluated one of my own studies to support students on PS5204: Advanced and Applied Research Techniques. This companion blog post is written to the exact assignment guidelines required for the PS5204 coursework. It’s not meant to be a “perfect” post (if such a thing exists!), but hopefully it will serve as a useful example of how to critically evaluate a specific research technique and explain your thinking in a way that is accessible to a general audience.
